Who We Are:

We make endlessly wearable, ethical swimwear meticulously crafted for the modern la Bohème. Our bohemian staples radiate an easy sophistication, with bold and vibrant patterns inspired by our Founder’s travels; from high-waisted suits fashioned in the spirit of carefree 1960s summers in St. Tropez to lush garden designs fashioned after the flora and fauna of Hawaii’s jungles.

Each carefully crafted piece is ethically manufactured, and is named for a Follow Suit muse–from screen sirens such as Brigitte Bardot to our Founder's mother-in-law who was a model and covergirl in the 1970s.

From the covetable cutouts to our bold vibrant colors, every Follow Suit piece is on the sartorial cutting-edge; and designed to last a lifetime.

We have a knack for creating flattering cuts and suits that actually stay in place–whether your plans for the day involve sunning on a boat off the Amalfi Coast or surfing breaks in Nicaragua at sunrise. Sourced from the highest quality sustainable materials, Follow Suit’s pieces aim to capture the joie de vivre that every summer season brings.

Our Values

Quality

We’re so serious about quality that we spent 3 years auditing factories, exploring ethical fabrics, and testing sample patterns before launching. We prioritize creating beautiful, long-lasting products that can stand the test of time. To do so, we only use the finest materials and partner with factories that specialize in swimwear pattern making and production. Swimwear fabric can be tricky -- so combining high quality fabrics with high quality trims, construction and fits, results in a better product and gives our swimwear a longer life. The hope is that our suits can be worn for years to come, rather than ending up in a landfill. 

Fit

Come summer, we live in our swimsuits, and we make the suits we want to live in. That’s why we’re obsessive about fit.  We want our suits to feel great whether we’re in the water or soaking up the sun, so every sample is personally tested by our founder and her friends over several wears to ensure comfort and quality of fit for a range of body types. If it doesn’t pass the fit test, it’s back to the drawing board. Because our standards are high, and if we wouldn’t wear it, we won’t make it. Period.

We want you to feel good in our swimwear, and part of that is knowing that every Follow Suit is ethically made from the ground up. Our suits are designed by women, for women, using the highest quality sustainable fabrics on earth, and hand sewn in NYC just a few miles from HQ. Read more about our sustainable commitment here.
